I hope you’ve enjoyed the images. I’m sad to say there were so many more but have been lost over the years due to drives failing.

Next up are some videos that are low quality but fun.

Back in the day I had the idea of trying more stylised fighting for Merlin based on the prism shots in 300. We couldn't technically do it the same way so I stuck 2 35mm 435 cameras together on a dolly to try and see if I could comp them together.
Here's the 2nd camera size on Arthur fighting
Here I've taken the low quality video and put it through after effects with merges and speed changes to see if the concept will work when taken further into higher quality post production with the 35mm film.

Here we are filming on 35mm a stunt artist as Merlin jumping the gap between the ice against green in the carpark out the back of the studio. t`his was shot on my phone at the same time. You can here the high speed cameras rolling.
Out in the forest Bradley practices a stunt fall on to a crash mat
The actors step through the moves with their stunt doubles to learn the sword fighting sequence.
We had caution tape around the bog that traps Arthur. We spent all day avoiding it to not fall in, then O, one of our sparks barreled on to set and totally forgot about it and fell in. We let him know what we thought ;)
A BTS shot of us filming the great dragon's fireball hitting a formation of Camelot Knights.
